Bill Kormos
Bill Kormos is a general internist at the Internal Medicine Associates, a hospital-based primary care practice at Massachusetts General Hospital with 55 staff physicians and 80 internal medicine residents. He has been involved in practice redesign and quality improvement as a member of the group's Practice Committee and Finance Committee for the past 5 years. He is also the Education Director for the John D. Stoeckle Center for Primary Care Innovation. In this role, he has worked to implement strategies to improve shared decision making, pre-visit preparation, and medication reconciliation across the 15 primary care practices at MGH. He has also lectured on implementation of evidence-based medicine, the difficult doctor-patient relationship, and bedside teaching. Bill received his medical degree from the University of Miami, School of Medicine and his masters of public health degree from Harvard University.
