Kathleen (Kathy) North, RN-C, BSN

Kathleen (Kathy) North, RN-C, BSN has many years of experience in nursing and in nursing leadership. She has worked at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene in Keene, NH for more than 20 years in Family Medicine as a flow nurse, phone triage nurse, and Nurse Clinical Leader. Prior to that Kathy worked as a Medical/Surgical Unit nurse at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT.

Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Boston University School of Nursing, Boston, MA and has a certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing. She is a member of The Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene Clinical Leader Group and the American Academy of Ambulatory Nurses.

Professional accomplishments at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene include assisting in the development of a successful Nurse Clinic and Coumadin clinic, and co-leading a Heart Failure Coordination of Care Group. Kathy was voted by her peers as recipient of the prestigious 2007 Quarterly Leadership Award and the 2006 Annual Hubbard Nursing Award for her excellence in nursing and leadership.
