Finding Information. Hospital Info.

Understandably, you want to get care at a hospital that has a particular expertise in treating your illness. Information on hospital quality is lacking. However, efforts to collect and publish that information are underway.

Find top hospitals
To find which hospitals are considered the best, you can use U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hospitals.” This list gives an overall ranking as well as a ranking by specialty area. While this list should not be used as your only factor in choosing a hospital, it can provide useful information on a hospital’s area of expertise.

You can also order a hardcover copy of the publication from John Wiley & Sons publications.
