Finding Information. Examples.

Finding out about a new medical condition can be overwhelming for you or your family. It is natural for you to want to learn about the disease. For many people, finding the right information can be complicated, especially during a serious crisis.

The fictional examples below show how two families began their search to find information on rare and special conditions. You can use them to get an idea how to begin your own search for information on your special condition.

Example 1: The Smiths’ baby has a rare heart defect
Example 2: Shelby is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis
